Senior Centres In Alberta Love CoolShots

In 2007, my wife and I were looking for a 2 feet by 10 feet shuffleboard table for our new recreation room. While attending the World Curling Championships, our son in law saw the game being demonstrated. I was so impressed with the quality of the game and the fun that Randy Ferbey and his curling team, were having playing it, we purchased one of the demonstration tables, and took it home for our recreation room. Our pool table and Texas Holdem games are mainly used by the men in the family, but what i noticed , and experienced, right away was, that the curling game attracted and interested almost everyone instanlly, including even my six year old grandaughter. The same applied for most men and also ladies in the family, even if they had never curled before. Our family’s and our friend’s functions, included anywhere from 2 to 30 people all playng the curling game. The curling game has taken over our recreation room leaving the other games hardly played. We have tournaments with 4 people per team, and with as many teams that want to participate. It has had such an impact with our family’s and friends gatherings, my wife and I thought why not share the experience, with other families, seniors centers, clubs, Legions, Curling Clubs and taverns.
